1. Questionnaire
I'll learn about your history, current circumstances, and running aspirations. We'll discuss your chosen event or fitness goals, what you aim to achieve, and how we'll structure your training to get you there. We'll also explore your coaching expectations and define what success looks like for you.

2. Program
I create a science-based training program tailored to your goals and circumstances. Each week your personalised plan is updated in a shared training platform (Final Surge) adapting to your physical progress, feedback, and other commitments. I'll review your running data through the app, and we will communicate at least weekly via your preferred method, whether it's app, text, email, phone or video call.

3. Race Strategy
As your event approaches we'll cover pacing, nutrition, hydration, gear, environmental factors, foot health, and mental resilience. We'll also create strategies to problem solve potential issues during your run. If you have a support crew, we’ll make a detailed plan to share with them. Your training program will enter a taper period. If possible, I’ll travel to your race to support you at checkpoints or cheer you through the finish chute.

4. Debrief & Recovery
We’ll reflect on your race day and the incredible aspects of trail and ultra running that make it such an engaging and life changing experience. Then I'll guide you through a recovery phase where we'll review your event, identify successful factors for future races, and analyse any issues, and consider ways to mitigate them. We can also discuss ideas for your next adventure!
